Chapter 1724: Chapter 1725

Only silence greeted them in the hallway. No one lingered nearby.

Barging into the men’s room wasn’t an option either.

“Hadley!” Right when Hadley thought about walking away, Elissa clung to her arm and fixed her eyes ahead. “That’s him!” Robin stepped out of the restroom, and Hadley spotted him too.

Elissa released her grip and moved straight toward Robin.

“Elissa? Why are you here?” Robin froze when he saw her.

Elissa’s expression was tangled with confusion and a bit of pain. “Why am I here?”

She gave a small, ironic smile. “That’s funny. I was just about to ask you the same thing. What brings you here, Robin?”

He struggled for a moment, words failing him.

Elissa glanced down at his arm.

Robin’s shirt was immaculate, bright white against his skin. His suit jacket rested over his left arm. On the other side, he had rolled his sleeve to his elbow, leaving his forearm exposed.

A clean bandage wrapped tightly around most of his lower arm.

“You’re hurt? What happened to you?”

“It’s nothing serious.” Robin tried to brush it off with a faint smile.

Inside the lounge, Elissa and Robin faced each other, while Hadley found a seat a short distance away.

“I’ll be honest with you. I came to see Dr. Perkins because of my sleepwalking issue,” Elissa said first. “And recently, my missing memories have come back.”

She hesitated for a moment before continuing. “Now, what about you? I want the truth, Robin. If you can’t be honest, then don’t bother saying anything.”

“Okay…” A strained laugh escaped him. Robin paused, searching for the words. “I’m here for a mental health issue. That’s the real reason.”

Elissa figured as much, since this was a psychological clinic. Yet, her brow creased even more. “Then what is it, exactly?”

“Elissa…”

Robin let out a shaky breath, drawing in air again and again. Each attempt seemed to weigh him down.

At last, he managed to speak. “It’s bipolar disorder.”

“What did you say?” Elissa’s face went pale, and her eyes widened. A sudden wave of lightheadedness hit her, and she closed her eyes, steadying herself.

“Elissa, are you alright? You look pale. Are you feeling sick?” Robin noticed immediately, his concern evident in his voice.

“I’m alright.”
