Chapter 2560: Chapter 2561

“Alright. Arrange it.”

In the dressing room, Hadley sat at the vanity, flipping through the product brochure as a makeup artist worked on her face.

The product—still unreleased—sat neatly on the table. Though the official launch was pending, she was already using it. She was the third person to try it, right after the two presidents themselves.

Elvin was seated beside her, having accompanied her to the shoot. Initially, he had been deeply worried about Hadley’s career after her split from Eric. But who could’ve predicted the Flynn Group would offer her a prime endorsement right at that moment? Hadley’s bond with Ernest was far more secure than her relationship with Eric. Now, there was no reason to worry at all.

Watching the makeup process closely, Elvin couldn’t help but comment, “Isn’t that a bit too heavy? Hadley has such striking features. Too much makeup takes away her natural beauty.”

“Really?” The makeup artist leaned in.

“I’ll soften it a bit then.”

“Thanks.”

Elvin grabbed a bottle of water and handed it to Hadley. In a low voice, he said, “I wonder if Mr. Scott will show up later.”

“Thank you, Mr. Webster,” Hadley said as she took the water, then blinked at his question.

“Why would he come?”

“Is it that surprising?” Elvin chuckled.

“Isn’t it normal for the president to meet their spokesperson?” Remembering their history, he added in a low voice, “If he does show up, just keep it professional—smile, be polite.”

Elvin, not being part of the inner circle, had no idea that Eric had lost his memory. To the public—and to people like Elvin—it seemed as if Hadley had simply been left behind by Eric. And naturally, none of them dared bring up the past in front of a man like Eric.

“Don’t worry, Mr. Webster,” Hadley said gently. She understood Elvin’s concern. He feared she might act cold or hostile toward Eric, which might endanger her own career.

She let out a quiet laugh and nodded.

“I know what to do… Besides, there’s a good chance he won’t come over at all.”

“It doesn’t really matter if he does,” Elvin said lightly.

“Even if he’s too busy today, you’ll cross paths at the product launch.” He sighed.

“Anyway, you’ve got nothing to worry about now. With Mr. Flynn’s support, just focus on doing your job and leave the rest to us.”

“Got it.” Hadley smiled faintly.

Just then, a soft knock came at the door, and Hadley’s new assistant peeked inside.

“Mr. Webster, Hadley—Mr. Scott is here.”

“Understood!” Elvin stood quickly and glanced at Hadley—Eric really had shown up.

“Don’t panic,” he whispered.

“Keep calm when you see him.”

“Got it.” Hadley lifted her skirt slightly and rose from her seat.
