What kind of demand was that?
Elissa stared at him in disbelief. Then, with a scoff and a tired smile, she asked, “And who exactly gave you the right to speak to me like that? Do I need your approval to do things now?”
She yanked her arm out of his grasp, then, with even more defiance, looped both arms around Robin to support him.
“Elissa…” Robin looked worried. “Did you two have an argument? I’m alright… Maybe you should talk it out?”
“No need,” Elissa replied without even glancing back at Ernest. “Let’s go,” she said simply. Find the newest release on Find~Novel.net
Then, with firm resolve, she added, “Let’s see who dares to stop me in the middle of the day.”
“Alright.” Robin nodded, his mind racing. He didn’t dare look back at Ernest.
Together, they walked away.
Ernest stood still for a moment, unable to move, then slowly turned to watch them leave. His chest tightened painfully, as though it might split open.
What was happening to him? Why did it feel like he couldn’t breathe? Utterly miserable, he stood there, consumed by his emotions.
Elissa helped Robin into the car, steadying him with care. “Rest for a bit. I’ll be back soon.”
“Okay,” Robin replied.
Once he was settled, Elissa hurried to the nearby pharmacy. She returned shortly after with a bottle of water and his usual medication. “Here,” she said, handing them over. “Take this.”
“Thanks.” Robin took the pills and sipped the water, letting out a quiet sigh of relief. “Thank you, Elissa.”
“You’re welcome,” Elissa smiled faintly, shaking her head. “I’ll stay with you for a while. When you’re feeling better, I’ll head out.”

“Of course.” Robin nodded, grateful for her presence. He glanced out the window. “Looks like Mr. Flynn left.”
Elissa didn’t respond right away. She pressed her lips together but remained silent.
“Elissa…” Robin hesitated, then gently asked, “Are you two okay? Did he… stop wanting you?”
Elissa was quiet for a long moment before shaking her head. “No, it’s not like that.”
“Then…” Robin hesitated again. “Is it… because of me?”
“No.” Elissa gave a soft laugh. “Don’t start overthinking it. It’s got nothing to do with you.”
“Alright,” Robin looked down for a moment before asking, unable to hold himself back. “Will you two get back together? Will you… marry him?”
“Feeling better now?” she replied smoothly, cutting him off. “You look fine, so I’m going.”
With that, she reached for the car door.
“Elissa!”
