The next day was Monday.

Sandra couldn’t sleep in and got up reluctantly.

Breakfast was prepared according to her taste.

When she had practiced with her master on the mountain, she used to cook vegetarian meals herself.

Geniston was a breeding ground for talented individuals.

The vegetarian meal was delicious,

but Sandra had no appetite.

Joey kept serving her food.

Sandra had been strictly ordered by her master not to waste food.

So, she could only finish what was on her plate.

Even though she had no appetite, she still managed to eat enough.

Wesley didn’t receive such treatment.

The best dishes were always given to her, and Wesley would eat whatever was left.

Of course, Sandra didn’t sympathize with him.

Wesley had been receiving acupuncture and medicinal baths recently, so he needed lighter meals.

Joey didn’t notice Wesley’s sharp gaze on his back.

He just served Sandra attentively.

Wesley was speechless.

After breakfast, Zachary arrived as arranged.

He looked like he had aged ten years overnight.

Deep wrinkles covered his face,

and much of his hair had turned white.

Sandra was a bit surprised.

After all, she almost didn’t recognize Zachary.

Zachary’s voice was a bit hoarse.

“Mrs. Cooper, I have brought all the gifts. This is the pendant you requested. That was tough.”

Wesley used to not pay much attention to what others said, but from Zachary’s words, he could tell that a lot of effort had been put into getting the pendant.

Many people at the Cooper Mansion didn’t approve of him, and then he thought of the inheritance.

Naturally, he ignored Zachary.

After all, compared to inheriting the Cooper Group, Zachary’s little tricks were insignificant.

However, Wesley was vindictive.

“Zachary, it’s three days past the deadline.”

Wesley said coldly,

“Did Grandma mention how to punish you?”

Zachary’s heart skipped a beat.

He wanted to sow discord, but Wesley didn’t even give him a chance to speak.

“Mr. Cooper, I…”

Joey interrupted him.

“I heard that you can no longer manage the Cooper Mansion.”

Now, Zachary was no different from an ordinary servant.

He had worked for the Cooper family his whole life, gloating in front of everyone,

but now, he was on the brink of being thrown out.

He regretted being so arrogant all these years.

Although he was mocked by Joey, he didn’t get angry. Instead, he felt very sad.

Wesley spoke slowly.

“I received a message yesterday that your granddaughter was going abroad.”

Zachary’s face turned pale instantly.

He had a lot to say, but he didn’t know how to start.

He also felt that Wesley had mentioned this just to taunt him.

He used to be loyal to Hailey.

But Hailey had sent his granddaughter away.

He was hit hard by that reality.

And he felt so ashamed.

“But I kept her,” Wesley said.

Zachary was stunned.

He looked up in disbelief.

His eyes widened.

In a trembling voice, he murmured,

“Mr. Cooper, you…”

Joey snorted.

“Mr. Cooper would never lie to you.”

Zachary was overwhelmed with emotion.

Tears welled up in his eyes uncontrollably.

Wesley’s tone remained cold.

“I just thought that since she wants to study abroad, there’s no need for her to go to less-developed countries.

She should study in developed countries and come back to work for the Cooper Group in the future.”

Joey turned around and took out an admission letter from a drawer beside him.

“This is from Tiburon University in Dalistan. Your granddaughter will major in finance there.”

Wesley had done what he could.

Zachary had been in the Cooper family for decades,

so he naturally had some knowledge of these prestigious universities.

Tiburon University was ranked in the top three in the world.

Its finance program was particularly popular globally.

Camilla had dreamed of attending for many years, but various circumstances had prevented her from doing so.

Unexpectedly, Wesley had made it happen.

Zachary held the admission letter to his chest and knelt on the ground.

Tears streamed down his face uncontrollably.

“Mr. Cooper, you are a lifesaver.”

He had always doted on Camilla. She was the apple of his eye.

Over the years, Camilla had been oppressed by Angela, and he felt deeply sorry for her.

But he was just a servant, and Camilla was naturally inferior to Angela.

He couldn’t resist.

The other day, Camilla was forced to steal the pendant.

Zachary had been thinking about how to deceive Wesley and deal with Sandra,

but this couple had helped him.

“Mr. Cooper, I’ll be your slave for life.”

Joey glanced at Sandra.

It was the right time.

He immediately spoke.

“Zachary, don’t get too excited. Actually, it wasn’t all Mr. Cooper’s doing.”

Zachary shook his head.

“Mr. Cooper fulfilled my granddaughter’s dream. He’s a lifesaver.”

Joey pretended to be surprised.

“So, you really didn’t receive the admission letter?”

Zachary blinked, blankly.

He didn’t understand.

Camilla had always aspired to attend Tiburon University.

She had been applying,

but unfortunately, every time after the interview, she didn’t receive any news.

Over time, Camilla began to consider giving up.

After all, she was getting older, and even if she passed, she didn’t want to go anymore.

Joey explained,

“I found it when Mrs. Cooper was treating Mr. Cooper at the Cooper Mansion last time.”

He didn’t say who had hidden it,

but the answer was obvious.

“If the person who received it had forgotten to tell your granddaughter about it, she would have missed it.”

Hatred instantly welled up inside Zachary.

Joey’s words served as a reminder for him.

Angela also wanted to go to Tiburon University.

Tiburon University selected students based on their academic performance, rather than their family background.

Camilla had good grades, and the interviewers had said they liked how she handled things and hoped for more communication in the future.

At the time, Zachary hadn’t thought much of it and considered it just polite words.

Who would have thought…

Zachary slowly stood up and wiped the tears from his face.

“Mr. Cooper, if you ever need me in the future, just say the word, and I’ll be there.”
